Built on precision, driven by purpose
Technology Consults Limited (TECO) is an independent, multi-disciplinary engineering and architectural consultancy firm incorporated in 1992, based at the College of Engineering, Design, Art and Technology (CEDAT), Makerere University. With 95 shareholders and over 140 consultants—including 30+ PhDs and 80+ Masters—TECO is by far the largest consulting firm in Uganda and East Africa.
A tradition of academic thoroughness combined with professional experience is verbalised in our motto: Quality and Efficiency. TECO has carried out more than 100 projects with a total construction value exceeding USD 100 million and consulting fees of over USD 30 million.
We have successfully completed projects for leading international agencies including the World Bank, African Development Bank, Islamic Development Fund, DANIDA, NORAD, and UNDP.
